Fred Price Jr. for District 5, Cheverly, Maryland 

Fred Price Jr. is a dedicated public servant, Marine Corps veteran, and longtime advocate for the residents of Prince George’s County. After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 1961, he embarked on a distinguished career in federal service, retiring from the Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.

Beyond his federal career, Fred has been deeply involved in local government and community leadership. He served on the Cheverly Town Council from 1984 to 1986 and has led local NAACP chapters, working tirelessly to promote equity and opportunity.

Now, as nominee for the Prince George’s County Council District 5 seat, Fred is committed to improving public safety by fostering stronger community engagement and increasing parental accountability for crimes committed by minors. He also aims to drive economic growth by expanding development opportunities and attracting new businesses and residents to the county.

Fred believes that real change starts with action, and he is ready to lead Prince George’s County toward a safer, more prosperous future.
